In today’s video, I share what is self-love. I also talk about the benefits of cultivating self-compassion. I address why it is so important to practice both and how to begin.
Since I started practicing this in my life I have noticed all the small decisions I make throughout the day are changing. There has been a time where I did not believe I was valuable or enough. That belief of unworthiness shadowed ever decision I made, even though I did not realize it. I decided to eat crap because who cares I wasn’t enough anyway. I quit on my dreams because it didn’t matter anyway. I even signed up and agreed to do things out of unworthiness.
Once I created an inner ally, I took my self-worth off the table, and each choice I make aligns with my passion and purpose. It’s been a beautiful process to watch unfold. I no longer agree to do things out of a place of desperation for people’s approval. I eat and exercise like I am a friend to myself and I care because it does matter. We matter.
My life feels more fulfilling as I align with my authentic self by removing my limited perspective of my worth and practice self-love & compassion.
